General Question: New to App building

If you are building device specific apps, then Nancy's recommendation of using Phonegap is probably the easiest solution. It is not a visual app creator though, and a good working knowledge of JavaScript is essential.

It may also be worth asking yourself why you wish to create device specific apps, as almost all the reasons for doing so are no longer applicable. It is possible now to do everything, (except access the users 'Contacts') in the web browser, of course if you wish to charge for the 'app' then device specific is the easiest way to do so, as people are more willing to pay for a device specific app, than they are for a service offered through a browser.
