GL2DW Javascript Problem

In Golive using the GL2DW extension to migrate my site to DW CS3, the JavaScript debugger launches with an error in Main.html in the templatecopy() function:

Line 335: if (nodeVal && nodeVal.value = 'Component' && nodeRef) {

The Log states: "the value is undefined"

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks much.

I'm having a diffferent problem. The export begins, gets almost all the way through, then hangs, then pulls up an error message like:

Error copying file 'file:///Users/(username)/Desktop/(foldername)/Library.lbi'

I called Adobe Tech support. I had to wait on hold for about 20 minutes until someone came on the line. They said they would connect me with GoLive tech support. I waited another 40 minutes on hold. The person who answered the phone said they were Customer Service but they would connect me with tech support. They promised that someone would get right on the line. I waited on hold for another 30 minutes and hung up in disgust. Total phone time: an hour and a half out of my work day.

Thanks Adobe! Nice way to treat your customers!

Can you all please open an official Dreamweaver tech support incident and
then post back with your incident number so we can track it?:

One user reported they solved the following error by manually creating a
Snippet folder:

g2dSnippetCounter = traverse (g2dSnippetSourceFolder.ref.getContent(),
null);

Thanks,

Manually creating a Snippet folder to where? In the mywebsite.data folder?

Edit: Nevermind - I found the answer.

Since it's been 2 weeks since I first posted the bug it would appear that no one at Adobe is interested in addressing the issue.....

I'm ALSO experiencing the same problem and it's driving me crazy! Is there a bug in the extension? When converting from GL CS2 into DW CS3, I keep getting a javascript error:

Script error: null is not an object In Module: GL2DW
Script File: /Applications/Adobe GoLive CS2/Modules/Extend Scripts/GL2DW/Main.html

No response yet. My project probably also started in CS1 but it's been in CS2 since CS2 was released.

I too am having GL2DW extension. The message I receive is:

Script error: null is not an object In Module: GL2DW
Script File: /Applications/Adobe GoLive CS2/Modules/Extend Scripts/GL2DW/Main.html
At line: 509 :g2dSnippetCounter = traverse (g2dSnippetSourceFolder.ref.getContent(), null);

I'm having the same problem too -- however it seems to be limited to some of my older sites... possibly the ones created in CS1 -- however the site files were upgraded to CS2 before I tried to migrate.
