Going to Black

In Dreamweaver CC 2017 I've had my iMac screen go totally black while working on a website. There was no response with my mouse, there was no way to get the screen back.  I've had to force quit the iMac and re-boot it several times.  Has anyone had this happen?  There doesn't seem to be a common trigger for when this happens.

I had the same experience on a windows machine and finished up having to replace the graphics card
