Help using Collapsible Panels

I hope someone out there can help me with this, or at least point me in the right direction.

I'm using the Spry Collapsible Panels for a personal website, but I would like to use a seperate image for each paneltab. I have four collapsible panels, and I created an 'up' and 'down' image for each tab. I managed to adjust the CSS so each tab has a different image on the 'open' and 'closed' state, it's the 'hover' state that doesn't let me set a different image per tab.

Anyone out there knowledgable enough on this subject (and willing, of course) to point me to a solution?
