Hide DW Search Panel

Is there any way to permanently hide the search results panel? It pops up after and find or search and replace. The window takes up too much screen space on a laptop and takes the window focus.

I've been using DW for 5 years and don't see how to do this in the config files. Thanks for your help!!!

Having resurrected this post dated in an era when CS3 was king, may I make the assumption that you are referring to this ancient version of Dreamweaver? If so, chuck it! It is of no use.

Then start a new topic with mention of your Dreameweaver version and Operating System.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

No. Pressing F7 minimizes it. Another thing you can try is detaching the
Results panel from the rest of the panel group and floating it. It still
opens, but pressing F7 closes it completely - at least that's how it
works in the CS4 beta.
