Highlighting text in Design Mode

I just upgraded to 21.0 and wondering if anyone else is having an issue highlighting text in design mode. I have my screen set up as split view with design view on the left and split view on the right.

When I try to highlight text on the design side, it highlights the text in the code side instead of the design sign. That's very confusing and hard to make sure I'm highlighting what I need to.

That's not the normal behavior in Design or Live views.

Have you restarted since installing?

If you have, and highlighting still isn't working, it might be worth restoring preferences.
