Question

Hotspot issue

Image hotspot goes to the wrong url. It works as it should in preview mode, but not online. This same hotspot and image is on every page of the website. Only the index page is having this issue. It works as it should on all the other pages.

Probably a bad link path.

Or hotspot drift on smaller devices because image maps are not responsive.

It's hard to say without a URL to your site.
