How do I back up my DW 2021 software? Had my MacBook Pro M1 repaired, and it had to be reinstalled.

Sorry if i didn't put this in the right community area. Could you kindly tell me what kind of back up i can use for my DW 2021 software? Does DW come with its own back up? I had a problem with my Macbook Pro M1 last week, and the only thing they could do was to totally restore the drive. Meaning i lost every program, including DW 2021. I re-downloaded it from Adobe but had to enter everything in again. To prevent that, is there an Adobe back up i can use if something like that happens again? I have an M1 MacBook Pro 16 inches, latest Monterey version. Thanks so much.  Anita

[Moderator moved from Using the Community to Dreamweaver.] Software programs must be reinstalled.  You can't copy them from one computer to another computer and expect them to work right. Local Site folders should be backed up to dedicated cloud recovery service nightly (I recommend Backblaze for $6/month) or saved to reliable external HDs.  You can never have too many backups. Insofar as site definitions go, you can export them to STE files from the Manage Sites Panel.  Keep STE files in a safe place in case you ever need to retrieve them. I keep one set on a USB drive and another in cloud recovery.    Hope that helps.
