how do I solve an FTP error please?

I haven't used DW in a long time, and upon resuming,

I am going to have to get around this problem.  How?
Do I go to my web hoster and ask qustions?

I kinda forgot this.

    Yes, you will need to get your FTP Credentials from your hosting company...

    Username
    Password
    Server location (Domain Name or IP address)
    Root Folder

    You will then modify that information in DW under Site > Manage Sites > Click your site > Edit > Servers > Clcik the Remote server
