Question

How do you import Snippets?

I exported all my Snippets from my old computer to a thumbdrive.  With Adobe CS6 you used to, via an import/export extension, to import your snippets into the Snippets folder.  Is there such an extension in Adobe CC?

No extension.  Simply copy your Snippets to Creative Cloud Custom Snippets folder.  But I think you must create at least one new custom snippet from DW CC first.  Otherwise you won't see the Custom folder.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to turn on hidden Files/Folder names in your OS's file manager.

On my Win10 machine, custom snippets reside at:

C:\Users\[name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver 2021\[language]\Configuration\Snippets\

After you get your workspaces, sites, etc... set-up, be sure to sync settings to Creative Cloud from Preferences.  This allows you to import them from the cloud later if needed.  See screenshot.

Hope that helps.

If you are using a Mac the path is:

{user library}/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver {Version}/{language}/Configuration/Snippets
