I do not want the "Missing semicolon" and the "Expected { and instead saw $." warning.

Disable Code Linting from your Preferences.

Where are you seeing the error exactly?
    Is the error warning accurate?
What version of DW is this happening in?
Could we see the code in question?
    Does the code validate?

My version of DW is CC 2018.

    The warning is below:

I think it is fine to code wihtout semicolon in Javascript but the DW gives me warning.

Use JS code validation tools to ensure your code is actually free of syntax errors.

If it's valid, ignore DW's code linting or disable it from Preferences. Your choice.

I haven't used the legacy 2018 version for a few years.  2021 is the latest.
