How to get the submit button to work

Hi, im new to dreamweaver and have tried looking everywhere for the answer but can't seem to find anything, I have inserted a submit button but how ecatly do i get this to send me an email when the form has been sumbitted? Thank you in advance for any help!

HTML doesn't DO anything without a form processing script. Form-to-email processing scripts come in different flavors depending on your hosting plan. This mail sending package uses PHP code.

If you can't code or your server doesn't support scripts, use a 3rd party form service like Wufoo, JotForm or MailChimp and embed their form code into your document.

Under no circumstances should you attempt to use MAILTO: because it doesn't work and it puts your email address at risk by spammers and bots.
