Does anyone know how to remove this blue line, I don't know what I did to put it there but now I can't get rid of it.

My apologies, it was I that erroneously marked @Nancy OShea 's answer as correct. I should have been more careful.

You may find the following as a solution

Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences. (adobe.com)

Updating your version of Dreamweaver would help as wel.

As a side note: My version of Dreamweaver (latest) does not show the blue band.

The blue bar is of no significance. Why does it concern you?

As you can see, I also have a vertical blue bar in Code View.  This is from Dreamweaver CC 2021.

First of all, this is not an accepted answer for me. I did not approve your reply because it's not a solution it's just you injecting yourself into a matter just to be seen.
Second, why it concerns me is a rather personal question, one you shouldn't be asking to begin with Nancy O'Shea.
Lastly, I am only interested in hearing from people who offer solutions, not opinions or inquiries.
If you don't have a solution don't offer to reply here, just keep it moving. Thank You..

No idea what your knickers are twisted about but I didn't inject anything into anything.  Evidently a forum moderator marked this as correctly answered.  I merely replied to your question.

As an unpaid forum volunteer and product user for many years, I think I know a thing or two about the software.  But if you don't agree, that's your choice.  In the future, I won't waste my time.

    Bubye.
