Where do I put it so it shows up as main default or index home page

You domain name home page is whatever your hosting provider says you should use.  Most web hosts use the index page but some give higher priority to default or home.  If unsure, ask your hosting provider.

The domain name home page is typically at root level of your server.

    ie. yourdomain.com/index.asp

The server root directory is established by your hosting provider.  Some hosts use public_html or www or htdocs.  Again, if unsure contact your hosting provider and be sure to add it to your DW site definitiion.  See screenshot.
