Essentially I was trying to add a media query for an assignment and switched tabs to see what exactly to add now I can't seem to interact with Dreamweaver at all. Like I can not even close it

Which operating system?

Can you save your work with Ctrl / Cmd + S?

version is 21.2

operating system...I guess windows

I mean I pressed ctrl + s but really I have no proof if it worked

when a document is modified and unsaved, you'll find a small asterix beside the doc name on the document TAB, see below beside the index.php TAB

once you press Ctrl + S and/or that the document is equal to the last saved version, the asterix dissapear. Still see below beside the index.php
