IM A NEWBIE To dreamweaver. TROUBLE WITH BOOTSTRAP, HTML, AND CSS

I've been creating a website for my school assessment and I have been using bootstrap components on my HTML document and making navbars and stuff. The thing is I need to save this all into one folder so I can save the HTML docs in the folder but all the bootstrap components and photo's on the website disappear. The bootstrap.css stuff up the top is not saved in the folder but when I put it into the folder it doesn't help. I am saving every picture in the same folder. Also the site root is not visible when I put the location of it in my folder. I am not sure if I have to download each part of my bootstrap components cause I have like 6 hours before it is due. To summarise i need help in trying to get all the parts of my website in the HTML document including bootstrap and the photos.

For a student project, I'm certain you're NOT using PHP at this point.  So you may disregard the previous reply about server technologies and local testing servers.  You don't need any of that for a beginner's project.

Your local site folder is defined in DW BEFORE you begin your project.  For example, Site > New Site...  C:\MyTestSite\  where C: is your computer's primary hard drive and MyTestSite is the project folder.   See screenshots.

Click on the Servers tab to enter your hosting server's FTP log-in credentials.

When you save files, DW automatically saves them to your local site folder.

To upload files to your remote hosting server, open your Files Panel (F8).  Select your site folder and click on the UP arrow.

Hope that helps. Post back if you still have questions.

when you work with Dreamweaver the very first step is to set a new web site.

then once something works in within dreamweaver, there is no doubt about it working outside of dreamweaver directly out of the local folder

however there is a particular attention if your site is not built only on HTML, CSS and JS, indeed, if your site relies on server technologies, generally PHP / MySQL-MariaDB, you will have to initialize a local server in order to visualize on the one hand your work within Dreamweaver, but also if you do it from the folder
You must therefore install locally an AMP stack (for Apache, Mysql/MaraDB, PHP)...

you will need to adjust the website settings to suit the use of this local server.
