I am more familiar in photoshop and laid out my home page in photoshop. How can I transfer it to dreamweaver?

My suggestion, find someone who is as familiar with DW as you are with Photoshop. You need to slice up the design and then bring it into DW to get the HTML and CSS setup so that you can turn a bitmap design into a website.
