image copy to site no longer automatic?

Hi,   I added an image to a page from another location on my harddrive.  DW used to copy the image or ask me if I wanted to copy it to my current directory. It is no longer doing that. Is there a way to fix it?

    Thanks....  for some reason the image folder was on another site by my same client.   Don't know how that got mixed up but I recently updated from DW CS6 to 2020 and 2021 and imported settings.

    Did you create a default images folder in your site definition settings?

    Site > Manage Sites > [Sitename]  pencil icon > Advanced Settings > Local Info.
