image links not working?

I have a DW page open showing.both code and desighh. For whatever reason, the links, which are shown in the code and are accurate accurate, are not seen in the design, only a small blank square. What can be done to correct this? Thank you

Sometimes I notice that the page has not updated or even saved changes so it might be worth closing the page and opening again to view any changes.

Did you define a local site folder before you began this project (Site > New Site...)?
Did you save your document and refresh your page with F5?
What's the URL to your problem page online?
