Images not loading in Live view

Hi,

I have version 21.1 and my images are not consistently loading. Does anyone know how I can troubleshoot?

I'm not sure what you mean.

What are you doing exactly and what specifically is happening?

Thanks for responding. After I add in the href and image source, the image does not render in the live view. I just see the alt text. Sometimes, it renders fine, but most of the time it does not. I input the code into a mother system, and when I save and open the HTML, the images show up fine in IE. It's just not rendering in DW.

Are you working with clean/valid code (green checkmark in the bottom of your document window)?

Are the images part of your website, or from an external source?

I've always had intermittent issues with DW recognizing external references within Live View, especially while working on HTML emails. What I will do is create a local copy of all of my images and keep them within a Defined Site (even though I don't set up FTP info). I use the local files during development, then as a last step, do a Find & Replace to add the external paths to the images right before publishing the code.
