Hi,

I have a user who is running Windows 8 version 6.3(build 6300) but when they go to download it from the cloud it says its incompaitible.

Is there a way to download an older version?

Win10 Creator's Update or higher is required now.

Please ensure your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run Creative Cloud Desktop App + all other apps you intend to use.  Min-requirements vary by product.

If your user runs the 64-bit version of Windows 8, there should be no problem with installation and running the program.

The latest Creative Cloud app (5.x) and DW 2020 won't run on Windows 8. Sorry.   See screenshots.

@Nancy,there is little difference between the 64-bit versions of W7(updated) and W8. I have not tried running the pogram on W8, but I see no reason why it wouldn't. I think that W8 was erroneously ommitted from the articles that you posted.

Microsoft ceased support of Windows 8 in January 2018--two years ago--which is why the error message is being received. Your user would best be advised to upgrade to the current Windows 10 which is constantly upgraded to combat trojans and other malware.
