I am a php developer and was working in dreamweaver. Few days back i installed autocad, after that dreamweaver stopped working. Please guide.[Topic edited by moderator for clarity]
Hi all,I'm just getting back into DW after many years, so please forgive me if I've overlooked something.In order to have our site-in-progress online and discuss with colleagues who are now all working from home, we've set up a subfolder on our webspace, www.[our URL]/[subfolder name], yet the site is not displaying online. Server setup:In DW's server setup, the connection is with SFTP, the test button gives positive results;the SFTP address is [www.our URL],the root directory is [subfolder name]/,and the web URL is http://www.[our URL]/[subfolder name]/; Remote server:All relevant files appear on the remote server, index.html being in [subfolder name]. It's got to be something obvious - any ideas appreciated - many thanks
I have the site downlaoded locally, but I can't view it in the console. Has anyone else had this issue?
I've made a responsive website and didn't make it an updated template. I need the header and footer to update all the pages I've already designed. How do I make the header and footer a template that updates all the pages I've already designed??? Help!Thanks
First time question: I have made an error in coding and cannot see most of page in Design mode.I can see everything in Live mode but cannot edit, only in code view.I can see everything but content. And can't figure out what I've done wrong.If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be much obliged.I have attached code for page.It's something between aside and content, I think....Thanks in advance,Diane
I need to redesign my clients website from Muse into Dreamweaver. I need some more information. My client wants customers to have the option to add products to a cart or order list and once this is done for that list to be emailed to their company email so their order can be fulfilled and shipped. My client doesn't need an online payment system or anything like that, just need a way for customers to add products to a list which at a click of a submit button can be sent to an email account in the office. How can I do this in Dreamweaver? PHP? Javascript? Do I need a third party plugin? Thanks![branched by moderator]
Hello great community 🙂 I have been trying to figgure out how to insert a marquee effect, the issue I'm having is that my text has a delay on apple devices.. Hello, I do have some problems with DW 2020, I'm running on macbook pro late 2017 with the latest updates. I only open the files, edit them, simply copy paste and exit. And it crashes, for example today in 2 hours, for more than 10 times. Could someone help me with a solution ?

I have a page that I started 10+ years ago that I keep adding to. It's got a lot of nested tables, is a little over 1MB in size (very few linked images) and has 19,220+ lines of html code. For a few years now, the file will get really slow to refresh. I'll click to place my cursor somewhere and it seems locked up and I get the white overlay and the window says "Not Responding." I'm using CC19 version (because the new paste in cc20 doesn't keep my line breaks). I've reset my preferences. I've cleared my cache. I'm using the most recent cc19 version.There are no errors in my code.IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIX HOW SLOOOOOOOOOW THIS PAGE IS?

Hello: I upgrade to the latest DW CC 2020, v. 20.1. Instead of my preferences from the previous 2019 version being recognized, I find default prefs being applied, which will take a lot of time to re-enter appropriately. When I clicked the upgrade button, I never saw an option to import the previous version's prefs. Is there no longer such an option? How do I reactivate the DW 2019 preference settings that are in my desktop files? And, is there an intuitive way for subscribers to upgrade DW while enabling previous preference settings to be recognized and applied? If so, where do I find and pursue that intuitive process? public function addToValidators(array $data) : void;^this is valid php, but creates a syntax error in Dreamweaver CC 2020. I am fully updated as of this posting. Using php 7.3 and Dreamweaver is set to 7.1. This is valid php per php 7.1. How do I fix this error? I do not want it showing up. I cannot find it in your source code.

I've just recently changed my entire 490,000+ page site to a responsive web design. In Dreamweaver, I use a vertical split, code-design view. On the design side, the images are now blurry. Here is an example: The code I'm using for the img: <img src="/checkmark.gif" style="max-width: 13px; margin: 0 auto; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle" alt="Baseball Almanac Checkmark" /> The actual size of the image is 13x13, but as you can see it is displaying in the design view blurry. Any ideas why / how to fix? If I remove the max-width line completely, same thing, blurry image. Sean
Hi!Can somebody tell me what does 16-bit video card that had been written in system requirements for Dreamweaver means ? I want to buy a protsessor i3 9100 with intel HD graphics 630 for creating sites in Dreamweaver. Does a 16-bit show the Graphics Video Memory? If yes,then intel HD graphics 630 has 65 GB. Whether I can work in Dreamweaver with this integrated video card or not? I really need your help.
I was just on Dreamweaver last night and everything was fine. I did not update it or anything. Today when I got on, I got the following error message: While executing onLoad in UpdateBootstrapVersion.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occuerd: Infile "UpdateBootstapVersion": updatBSVersion is not defined.My Dreamweaver runs on Windows. I tried resetting the preferences like Adobe suggested, but the error message still pops up. I have a midterm due Saturday and I need Dreamweaver to finish it.
I resently began usinf <?php include within my webpages. I have multiple folders within the Root directory, including one named Includes. Now, whenenrt I open a folder in the Root directory by clinking the > symbol. the Folder that includes the (named Includes), also opens. This is just an annoyance but is there a waybto stop this ehavior?
I have just downloaded the 7 days trial of Dreamweaver 2020, to replace the DW CS6 version (now uninstalled). I'm using Xampp as the database.I create the local host site and a via a simple PHP file I can confirm the connectionIt also works in live viewThe problem comes when trying to access the database table that I get the above error as I set up the MySQL Connection. I am having the toughest time trying to get an "underline" removed from text in an unordered list. I have added: text-decoration: none;list-style: none; And I got rid of the bullet and any decoration on hyperlinks but this underline still remains on my listed items that are not hyperlinks. Anyone notice dreamweaver is very sluggish running, I am using latest macbook pro with tons of cpu and memory. Anyone find a way to make this a better experience, i use other programs like visual studio code and performance is way better. maybe disable some plugins or something?
hello, im am currently in a web authoring class and i am havinng some trouble with the jquery scripts working when i upload to the server. i have attached some screen shots of my POV if it helps explaing the issue. the first picture is what it looks like when i test the browser and everything works. the seconnd is the jquery code. and the third is what it looks like when i test it on my class server.
I am a complete novice. Did course in Dreamweaver built my first web site (nearly finished) Never taught about responsive web sites. How do I make my site responsive or do I need to start again? Thanks
I have a template which I opened, saved as a new file name and then started editing it. I can open the template file and see my edits. I can see the preview of the template file when I do File>New From template and see my edits. The new file created doesn't incorporate any of the edits. Its like the File>New process is using the first, unedited version of the template. I view the code and see the correct template is linked and ctrl+f shows 'dwt' only occuring once in the file. I can go Tools, Templaes, Update current page, and nothing changes. I can remove the template, save, then open then apply template ot page, and nothing changes. I've recreated my cache. I've dumped my settings. I've tried every suggestion on the boards. Someone on this board is right, when DW fails, it fails in a massive, massive way.
