This function periodically changes the state or on the OVR, or on the INS, it is sometimes not observed INS = INSERT, and it happens that instead of INS = OVERRIDE. There is no regularity.

Correct answer Andrey_Khlivnyuk

I've done it. Furthermore, I completely uninstalled all Adobe applications and set them again. But that's not all, I completely formatted the hard drive, remove and install from scratch the operating system. Two Mac (iMac and MacBook Pro). Nothing helped.

I found a solution - just set English interface, not Russian. For me it works.

Any chance you're hitting the Insert key on your keyboard?

On mine, it's right next to Home and Delete keys which I frequently use.
