Insert ImageReady HTML Into Page

I created a very cool navigational graphic with remote rollovers, all sliced up and ready to go. I did the standard 'Save Optimized As...' and have an HTML file with a subfolder of graphic image slices.

Now I want to insert this HTML into a page and it won't do it. I even downloaded the exchange extension for this, but that extension was created back in 2000 and apparently it doesn't work (you get an error if you try to insert it). You can't use the Insert Fireworks HTML either because it says it's not a fireworks doc and rejects the insert.

OK... now why is it the best image editing software is not compatible with the best web design software..... when they are both owned by adobe now? suggestions other then reslicing everything all over in fireworks?

Like I said, I don't use Image Ready .. I tried it once .. Version 1.0 I
think .. didn't like the results.

I don't know without trying it and I don't have it installed to try it at
present.

Are these the types of updates we can expect with drreamweaver 9

No one will know that until the next release is announced .. usually about
60 days prior to release.

Why hasn't anyone at Adobe created

Again .. I don't know. Most extensions like that are created by 3rd
parties. Apparently no one thought it was worth doing for whatever reason.

yes, you could copy-paste the table that's created from the output, but you will also have to go into the code and copy paste all the javascript as well. And lets not forget, unless all the images are the same folder as the page you are inserting the HTML , all the graphic links will be broken and you will have to change every slice url or have several copies of the same layout for every folder you keep pages in. so, yes, it can be done.... but how inconvenient and unnecessary is all of that?

Are these the types of updates we can expect with drreamweaver 9 now that adobe owns all of this software? Why hasn't anyone at Adobe created an extension to accomplish this?

I wouldn't personally use ImageReady .. but as you can get a table with it
.. you should be able to copy and paste that table into Dreamweaver. No?

The newest versions of their software were created before they merged.
