Insert toolbar in Dreamweaver 2017

I've been trying to find out how to add my Insert toolbar in the 2017 version (instead of having it just as a menu item). I saw in another post that someone used the Dreamweaver CC: Restore the Classic Insert Bar tutorial and it worked for them but I can't seem to get it to work for me. Am I missing something?

All you should need to do is...

    1. Open the Insert panel under Window > Insert

    2. Click and drag the named tab of the insert panel up to the top of the application frame until it ghosts itself and a horizontal highlight appears as shown here...

    3. Release the tab and the insert panel will turn into a toolbar as shown here...

The tutorial is generic and has nothing to do with buying an extension. It is simply a more detailed version of what John Fitz suggested in his reply to you. The method does work, so it could simply be a matter of hand-eye coordination. Try again and if you still cannot get it to work, please post back and someone should be able to help you. If you do happen to be a customer of ours, you may also feel free to email or telephone us and we will walk you through the process.

My apologies, Al.  I honestly thought you were offering this as an extension.

PS. I don't have any problems with you -- this week or any other week .

That link points to a 3rd party commercial extension offered by Project Seven.  You don't need it though unless you want to revert to the classic look.

Thanks! I was trying to drag the actual Insert tab and not opening it from the Window dropdown first. I've used Dreamweaver since it came from the old Homesite days...not sure why I had such a senior moment! Thanks!
