I have designed a Contact Us page in Photoshop, a full page image, and I want to put a Contact form on it. Sure seems to me there should be a way to do that. Please see attached Contact Us page. Any help would be greatly apprecited. Thanks

    Hi @diffie111,

Coding skills are a must have for this.  An image cannot be used as a contact form.  What have have now is a design idea and nothing more.

You will need to translate your design idea into actual CODE   -- HTML, CSS (styles> and a server-side programming language that can safely & securely collect and process your form data.  The scripting language you use will depend on your hosting plan and which scripts your server can support ( PHP, ASP.net, ColdFusion, or something else).   Ask your web host.

How much coding experience do you have?

If coding is outside your wheelhouse, don't do this yourself.  Use a 3rd party contact form service like Wufoo.com, JotForm or possibly MailChimp.  Copy & paste their code into your HTML document.

Post back if you have more questions.

The starscape would be a background image in your page's .css file.

The words CONTACT US would be HTML text, and added along with any fillable fields you plan to add to the form to collect information.

The overlaying oval and keyboard images would be just that, overlaying <img> tags within the html of the page.

You would then need to write, find or buy a server-side script and connect it to your page for it to "do something" with the information collected by your HTML form. That info would be processed by the server and sent to your email.

For better or worse, there's no automatic way to do what you want in DW.

Check with your hosting company. Many will have form scripts that can be used as part of your hosting package along with instructions on how to implement them. If your host doesn't have one, look into "form to email scripts" and/or "form to email services" online.
