Is it ok to ask question here about Dreamweaver's Classroom in a Book?

If not, my apologies. "Adobe Dreamweaver Classroom in a Book (2022 Release)" is, according to Adobe, "The official training book from Adobe," as stated on the cover.  It is sold by Adobe Press. I cannot find a forum for this specific book.  Adobe Press has no forums.

My question: Has anyone experienced, as have I, the total absence of anything about "Snippets" in this book, other than the word and nothing else appearing in nebulous places? It incredibly does not appear in the Index.

The word appears solo in "Touring the workspace," "Working with predefined layouts," "Creating an external link," Finding and replacing text," and "Working with CSS preprocessors."  Five places. One word. No help on the subject.

Am I missing something?  How in the world can this be?

Any thoughts on this, folks?  By the way - $51.

    @11045257,

    DW Help menu > F1 > The online User Guide describes Snippets pretty well.

    https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/reuse-code-with-snippets.html

    Book authors cater to publisher's & editor's expectations.  Beyond that, I can't comment as I haven't looked at the book.  I mainly use DW as a code editor which doesn't have many moving parts.  If you can work with code, DW can be learned in a weekend without a book.  To that end, coding tutorials offer more long term benefits, IMO.

    Hope that helps.

    @Nancy OShea, thank you. Your post definitely helps.  I have been using Dreamweaver for well over a decade, feel comfortable with it, but have not used some of the more detailed in-depth functions. Snippets are one of them.  I agree with your suggestion of working more with code and coding tutorials.  That is the heart of the matter.

    W3schools.com is something I have looked at (among other code tutorial sites) from time to time and found it to be an incredibly good resource. Fortunately, I am comfortable working with code. You have motivated me to focus on that path, which will make my ongoing learning more deeply embedded in my head.  Thanks very much!  You have provided a watershed moment for me in my moderate web development learning.

    Please disregard my post.  I have just requested a refund from Adobe Press an hour after I purchased it.  That inexcusable omission is ridiculous.  I requested a refund on principle.
