Is there a key for changing between CODE, LIVE and SPLIT views?

I have only room for one monitor (unfortunately) and use the SPLIT view... but I find this space very limiting for coding. Most of my changes I type in code view, but I like seseing live view update. I would prefer to change from code and live views with the button, but it's a bit slow, so I'm wondering if there is a simple shortcut key to change back and fourth... or if there isn't, can I assign one and where? (Preferences?)

      Thanks for writing to us. Can you please try the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+` to toggle between code and live view. This will work if you are in full code view and want to switch to full live view or vice versa.

        Well, it's not exactly the same thing you're looking for, but would pretty seamlessly act like it...

        Open your Code Inspector Window (F10 or Window > Code Inspector)
        Drag it, and stretch it to cover your Live View
        Save your Workspace under Window > Workspace Layout > Save Current
        Close the Code Inspector with F10

        From there on out, you can hit F10 to "switch" to "Code View" with the inspector covering Live/Design, closing it with another F10, then Ctrl + Shift + F11 to switch between Live or Design...

        Two shortcuts, but all views using button presses.

        Customize your workspace.

        Maximize space by dragging, docking or grouping panels.  Close non-essential panels and toolbars. 

        You can find them again from the Windows menu.  Save your new Workspace settings.  See screenshot.

         

        Use the View Menu or Document Toolbar to select your desired view mode Code | Split | Live/Design.

         

        To toggle between LIVE and DESIGN view, use Ctrl + Shift + F11.

        my workspace is optimized... but there's only so much room for the code and live views and on split it's a limited space. i dont mind flipping back and fourth, just asking if there is a key to shortcut it.
