Question

Is this forum goofy again?

Ive had nothing but trouble posting to the forum recently. You hit 'post' and it doesnt respond so you hit it again and nothing, then this stupid message appears (see below <!-- RED BOX STARTS -->):

The forum doesn't work on tablet. When you insert the cursor into the response editor it jumps to the top everytime and you have to scroll down to find where the cursor is located. The response editor is about 1 cm high and accomodates about 2 lines of text viewable.

This forum is absolutely appauling, the worst forum software ever, its a nightmare. Adobe are being had over by whoever sold them this shite!!

You cant type beneath the red box which the text below is in (red box has been removed by the forum) only inside it because you cant get the cursor passed it - absolute trash!!

<!-- RED BOX STARTS -->

Correct the highlighted errors and try again.

  • Post flooding detected (community received posts of a unique message more than 1 times within 3,600 seconds)

CAN ONLY TYPE IN THE RED BOX NOT BENEATH IT.

<!-- RED BOX ENDS -->

There was a red box above: Now I get this stupid message below:

'Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied'.

    Yes, the Post Flooding error has been reported in Using the Communities which is specifically for forum related issues.

    It's a glitch that seems to come and go and then come back again.

    I typically save my work and refresh the browser with F5 or Ctrl+R which clears it.  However, your mileage may vary on tablet browsers.  The mobile experience is so bad I rarely use anything but desktop on this platform.

    Hi Nancy,

    OK well thanks for confirming, its been driving me insane over the last few days. Its of zero help to me when I'm trying to help someone else. Often I'm on a tablet but find it so time consuming typing the simplest of responses because of the jumping position of the editor itself. If I wasnt so ingrained in this community and was new I would'nt be inclined to want to return, given the tools to communicate are total rubbish.

    What I cant understand is a large company like Adobe letting some supplier take the p*ss! This under-performing forum nonsense has been going on for years, it never improves.
