Is this possible to have a collapsible work in Dreamweaver?

I create a html file and edit it on DW with "View Mode->Design." I created an html file with a copy and paste from

https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_js_collapsible_animate

But in the Design view the collapsible does not work. Why? Is is possible to have collapsible in this setting?

Not sure what you are trying to do. To me it sounds like you want Dreamweaver to act like a browser. No, that is not possible.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

    Hi @20240603 ,

Thanks for writing to us. To add to Ben's comment above, Dreamweaver provides browser based rendering when you switch to Live view either from Document toolbar or "View->View Mode->Live" menu. In Live view, we can edit the required content by clicking on the text and cmd+click to expand the collapsed blocks to edit the text present within collapsed section.

    Have a pleasant day!

    Regards,

    Nayan

Thank you. I tried the above in the Live mode before posting but the collapsible does not work. I will appreciate if you take a look.
