Issues with NEW Mac OS Monterey 12 .3..1 with Dreamweaver .

I am getting files disappearing, css and other html letters /folders being inserted into my web site folders, after I save all my files and back them up each time I work on them. When I start up next day Mouse on Mac is not responsive for first 5-6 minutes after power up. Printer does not respond. Coruption all over my web pages.

Files being deleted. I must get the missing files from my back ups I took the  night before.

 

Is it me doing something wrong with the new Monterey 12.3.1 upgrade I was told to do by a lady Adobe support team member as I had a strange issue, small issue now, after all the grief I am having with the new OS.

I think it's not fit for purpose, Is that too strong an opinion ??

    Having used a Mac for many years and have been using the latest OS for quite awhile too this sounds like you have deeper issues then Dreamweaver.  I would start by scanning your system for viruses and malware.  You could try a time machine restoration from before the update to see if that removes the issues from your system, but I would turn off Time Machine to prevent corrupted backups from being saved and potentially overwriting safe files from your backup drive.

        Issues with printer, mouse & corrupted files after power up could be signs of much bigger issues.  I suggest you seek help from a qualified computer technician.  Or consider getting a new computer.

        Thank you nancy. I will speak to my support company I use. Its a ne w 27inck Desk Mac 1 year old, i will also speak to my supplier who is very good I must say.
