Kaosweaver Extension for Dreamweaver

Hi all, I just downloaded the Advanced Random Images extension from Kaosweaver, and I have had thrilling success (after some troubleshooting) in using it to create some basic slideshow elements onto a web page. So... I got this wild hair that maybe I could employ the same element into an HTML email, but upon doing so, I could ONLY get it to show up in the View As Web Page option. Am I lame in the head, or is there a way to make this work in the email format? All of the images are absolute paths, and all of the image sources are uploaded to the server.

I simply copied the Kaosweaver code into the Email code. Any thoughts, I'm basically a Design View person, Split View at best. THANKS!

Many email clients, if not most, will not run any JavaScript within the email content, and if they do not, then the code from the extension (which I assume uses JavaScript) will not work.

Now, the above may not be true of some or all online email viewer applications (think GMail, etc.). If it works at all in one or more, consider yourself lucky, but expect it not to work in anything else.

Finally got that part figured out. But can't figure out how to edit it once in place.

I just downloaded this extension to give it a try and nothing.  It does not display any images.  They show up as broken links.  I have standard images in the page just fine.  Am I missing something here?

Thx,

James
