Ich gebe folgendes in dreamweaver CC an

<!DOCTYPE html>

<html lang="de">

und wenn ich das Programm in einem Browser aufrufe, wird es überschrieben mit <html lang="en">

und meine Silbentrennung funktioniert nicht

-webkit-hyphens: auto;

             -moz-hyphens: auto;

             -ms-hyphens: auto;

             hyphens: auto;

Wieso wird mein Programmcode überschrieben?

I cannot replicate the problem where the code is overridden.

For the hyphen, this is calculated by the browser and has nothing to do with Dreamweaver. See https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_hyphens.asp for more.

thank you for your reply, but

In order for hyphenation to actually work, the language of the page must of course be set:

https://www.mediaevent.de/css3-silbentrennung-hyphens/

in this case

<html lang="de">

but this is overridden by pressing F12 to preview in Browser

the sourcecode is changed to <html lang="en"> and this happens working with DreamweaverCC

I think that

<html lang="en">

that you see in the browser is part of the envelope that Dreamweaver uses for the preview, i.e. http://127.0.0.1:53968/preview/app/. This has nothing to do with your actual dociment.

To see what I mean, view the document using the localhost address and you will see that nothing has changed.
