Live Data preview not working

hmm .. are you the Administrator? You probably can't set anything unless
you are. Unfortunately, I don't know much about Vista. :(

Thanks for this Nancy. i gave the iis_iusrs(myusername\iis_iusrs) the read and execute and write permissions to the site folder. However its still giving me the same error. I notice the site folder itself is marked read only. Vista is not letting me change this. Do you think this might be the problem and if so any suggestions? Do you know if there is any way to track down exactly where this error is being generated from?

yeah, you need to go to the Security tab on the site folder under Inetpub
and allow read, write and execute permissions to the IUSR_yourusername user.
In XP Pro, that's a right click on the site tab and go to Properties and you
have to unhide the security tab which is hidden by default and then find the
user and make your changes.

Unfortunately, I don't have Vista so this may not be the same.
