Live Preview for Smartphone doesn't work

Hey folks,

i don't know if i'm in the right place to ask questions.

Currently i'm working with the latest version of Dreamweaver and want to watch a website i made on my smartphone.

After scanning the qr-code i logged into my adobe account, but not live preview was shown on my smartphone.

I followed the given solution steps (NodePort.js, restarting, check if working in the same network, Cooking enabling, firewall etc.) but nothing worked.

Is there anything more i can do?

Kind regards

Hey Niharika,

no i havent setup a testing server. Do i have to, if yes can you give me a how to, please?

And i am able to get a live preview on my browser, no matter whether it's chrome oder edge/internet explorer.

Kind regards

Update: I was able to figure out the problem it was the windows firewall.
By disabling my private network firewall i was able to view my website on my smartphone.
But i dont want to disable my firewall everytime.
Can you tell me which rules i have to set for my firewall to get things working every time?

Update#2 and Solution:

Finally fixed it.
in your firewall income settings you need to allow the follow port: 8010, as TCP.

But first you need to create the NodePort.json file. Tutorial can be found here:

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please detail us if you have setup a testing/remote server? Also are you able to see the preview on your desktop browser?
