Question

Live testing of iPhone and iPad when updating a Mac

Hi, apologies if already covered sometime.

Following an Adobe tutorial it mentions scanning a QR code with my iPhone to see the responsive web page that I am creating. My panel is blank. No QR code or browsers listed. I can see both browsers listed in preferences. I can view in a browser and see it change if I alter the width of the screen. I hope that it is still possible to see on different devices in real time.

Ta muchly.

Tom

Another workaround is to download a trial version of Wappler (available for 14 days)

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Device Preview was discontinued. The servers no longer exist.

WORKAROUND:

1. Upload files to a folder on your remote server & test with mobile/tablet devices you own or borrowed from friends & family.

2. Install a local testing server  -- Xampp, Mamp or Mamp Pro for Mac.

Thanks Nancy. I have Mamp pro and a remote server. Should be straightforward.

Best
