Live update

I have had adobe products for years and this past month has been such a headache. I pay for the membership to have the product actually work!! the live view doesn't update when the code changes, the preview can't load for some odd reason. I'm at a point that I'm going to cancel everything with adobe and move on with a program that WILL work!!!!!

    Hi @ericb89981592,

    I'm going to start at the beginning so forgive me if I'm asking stupid questions but I don't want to overlook the obvious.

     

    1. Which operating system and version of DW?

     

    2. Does your computer meet the min-requirements to run Creative Cloud + OS + other apps.  Please check each one as they vary.

    3. Did you define your local site folder (Site > Manage Sites) for this project? 

     

    4. Does your site folder reside on your computer's primary hard drive  -- not a networked or cloud drive like DropBox?

     

    5. Does your computer user profile have full read/write permissions for that folder on that disk/volume?

     

    6. Are you working with valid HTML and CSS code  -- no code errors?  Check code with online validation services below.

    7. When you make code changes in Live View and hit Refresh or F5 key, what happens?  If it helps, post a screenshot of your workspace.

    let's add that pushing f5 for "live refresh" doesn't work either.
