Looking for libcurl.dll cs4 [CS4 IS DEAD]

Dear reader,

Due to a trojan virus my file libcurl.dll is damaged. The original installation disk no longer works. Question: How can I get a good file for Dreamweaver version CS4?

I think that you will be disappointed down the track. @Nancy OShea has mentioned a few alternatives. The one that I have chosen comes from Enschede and is called Wappler.

 


Dear Ben,

Thanks a lot. Fortunately, I found the solution and was able to repair the libcurl.dll file. It was hidden in the Windows Defender quarantine. There I could give the command to restore the file. Everything works correctly now.

  • CS4 is DEAD.
  • Even with installation disks & legitimate serial number, you can't activate the software. 
  • CS1 - 4 activation servers no longer exist.
  • Besides, the code from CS4 (released in 2008) is woefully outdated & unfit for use on a modern website.

    If you have an issue with Windows dll's you should run a "sfc /scannow" from the command prompt to try and repair the file. What do you mean that the disk no longer works? Are you getting some sort of error? If so, you may still have other issues present and may need a reinstallation of Windows.

    Dear Ben,

    Thank you for your advice. Unfortunatly the scan did'nt help. On behalve of the last information I can't activate the installation disk because CS4 is dead. So I have to buy Adobe Creative Cloud.
