There are many videos that will help you to teach yourself.

But as others have stated, it is better to use Wappler which is in fact a Dreamweaver like program with the inclusion of DMXZone extensions. I made the move about 3 years ago and have not touched Dreamweaver since.

Despite what is being said about the niche workflow in Wappler, it is no different than using Dreamweaver with the DMX extensions. The workflow is exactly the same. The difference is a better IDE environment when using Wappler.

If you take the advice of others to take up hand coding, than I would use Visual Studio which is free of charge.

If you decide that you want to just create a web applications without the hassle of hand coding everything, then I strongly suggest Wappler

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Thank you for your message.
I will now deal with Woppler.

Most of my project consists of simple forms and list. I only need a few functions that have to be programmed by hand.

Professionally, I don't have the time to deal with the topic for months.
That's why I'm looking for someone who can help me get ahead faster here with training.

Well Wappler is a 'beast' of a program so you may be disappointed unless you do have weeks and months you can allocate to understanding how it works. There's a free 7 day trial so give it a go and see what you can accomplish in that time. I think when they officially release version 5 the trial period is going to be extended.

Sounds to me though like you need something simpler, maybe investigate Webflow also. I dont know what functions you require so it's difficult to provide any more suggestions.

There are free tutorials on the use of Wappler available on YouTube like this one.

But learning code fundamentals is highly recommended first.  And you can do that at your own pace through self-study excercises online.  Great apps are not built by software.  They are built by people who understand code.

Read the chapters, do code exercises and take quizzes at the end.

Thank you very much for your hint.
I'll be careful, and I won't let anyone on my computer.

I'll second what has been said. If you are interested in the dmxzone applications then I would look more to Wappler as your alternative. But when building database applications it would be much more beneficial for you to learn and understand the code to get the most out of your applications and look at the applications themselves as just tools to help you with the code. Otherwise you will eventually get into a situation where new software comes out like the situation you are in now, or where you could get left behind as the database advances could move quicker than the applications can be updated.

I can only provide some advice on what l know. Dreamweaver is now only minimally maintained. According to the information currently available it will only get minor OS updates and some bug fixes, no new features are planned.

You need to ask yourself the question, armed with this knowledge whether it's worth investing your time and money, if you plan to purchase third party extensions, if its a viable route going forward.

Dmxzone have their own editor, Wappler, which comes piled high with a lot of inbuilt features for building complex database driven websites and applications.  It's fairly pricy though if you're only an occasional user. It also deploys its own niche workflow, which might not be suitable if your long term goal is to progress into the industry working for someone else as an employee.

You could just learn to code if youre a serious player. Maybe another option would be to learn Wordpress, which is popular with amatuers and professionals alike.

Thank you for your message.
I set up my Wordpress site myself and have it under control.
I trained as a media designer 20 years ago, but then my vocation took a different direction.
At that time I could have implemented the current project with Dreamweaver by my self.

Unfortunately, coding is not like riding a bike that you don't forget 😞

I will now deal intensively with Woppler.
