I designed 2 basic websites using Dreamweaver 8 a few years ago, haven't needed to change anything on the sites for quite a while - until now.

Can't remember the password to upload files on one of the sites - is there a secure way to change the password when you can't remember the current one?

Thanks in advance

Unless you have access to the websites control panel, where you should be able create a new ftp user and password you will most probably have to approach your hosting provider to re-set the ftp details for you.

Server ids & passwords are set on the server itself. Contact your web host.
