Missing image/Cannot connect with FTP

I have two issues going on that I can use some expert advise on.

First, on a website I created, there is an image that refuses to appear called Chariot in the About The Transportation paragraph. I've tried uploading several times, making sure it's in the images folder, changing the name, changing the format from .jpeg to .png and clearing my cache, but it is not there...just the symbol for the image. What am I missing?   http://www.trojansinparadise.com 

 

Secondly, for some reason, Dreamweaver refuses to connect to the site to upload files directly. I had to download FileZilla to get the site up. When trying to connect, I get an error message that the name and password may be incorrect but I have verified it is the exact same info I put into FileZilla. I made sure that Passive is on. I saw some options others were offered such as the root folder name and changing FTP to FTP over SSL explicit and still didn't work. Any other suggestions for me to try so I can keep everything within Dreamweaver?

    "This" is not the same as "this". If you link the file using Dreamweaver, it should have grabbed the filename of the image and inserted it into the code. But if you were typing this yourself, it may not have been apparent. Your "bus" image is not showing because the "b" should be capital like "Bus". As soon as I changed that your image appeared. I realized that because when I quickly looked at your code you were capitalizing every other image name.

     

    For the DW error, if you click on Site --> Advanced --> FTP Log before your next transfer you can see a detailed error moreso than the DW pop up which can be broad and inaccurate at times. Depending on the error we may be able to see if there is something else to correct. Otherwise, as stated, it may be better to just use a more modern and updated FTP client.

    It's fair to say you have bigger problems that have nothing to do with Dreamweaver.

     

    Your site appears to contain PUPs -- Potentially Unwanted Programs that could compromise user's security or privacy.

    See Suspicious Warning below.

     

    That said, I'm not interested in pursuing this. That's beyond my volunteer pay grade.

    And now another issue has cropped up. Inside of DW, instead of seeing all of the images and formatting, I'm now seeing this. Anyone know why all the images and styling has disappeared?

    Just looking at the code of the screenshot, it appears you have CSS in two different style sheets, in two different locations. One in your site root (next to your index.html page) and the other inside a "css" folder.

    Is that where they're actually located?

    If a file is moved outside of Dreamweaver's Files window, say dragging the styles.css file into the css folder or an image from the site root to an "images" folder, DW won't know to rewrite the links, breaking your css and images.

    Could that have something to do with it?

      Hi Jon. Thanks for the input. I was able to correct everything and it is now working the way it should except I still can't get Dreamweaver to connect by FTP. But since the FileZilla option has been working perfectly, I will just continue with that. I'm by no means a website expert so thank you again for your patience and help!

      Thank you Ben for helping me resolve the first issue...I did not know that capitzlization can be an issue.

      As far as the 2nd issue, I tried looking at the FTP log but it is blank before and after I try to connect. I tried connecting to another site successfully and I saw the log fill in, but for this particular site, nothing.

      1. The file cannot be found. Try uploading again.

      2. Keep using FileZilla or get a decent IDE.

      VSCode is a great free-of-charge. I have opted for Wappler.
