Missing pallette

I have accidentally clicked the red close button on a design palette and cant find it anywhere to reopen it - any help?

    What did this "palette" do, exactly?

    (Im a newbie to Dreamweaver) I could align text, change text colours and sizes of individual paragraphs / words (rather than the entire page design).

    That's fine, but you're going to have to try to be a bit more descriptive. In Dreamweaver 18, Adobe has crafted a custom UI. There are no red Xs if what you mean by X is default close icon in Windows user interface. Adobe controls look different. So, let's start with version of Dreamweaver you are using. Can you tell me that?

    Now, I'll take a guess that you are referring to the property inspector. If that's the case you can access it by choosing:

    Window > Properties
