Mobile Menu Not Working Locally

I downloaded a webpage locally and wanted to use it to build a website. Everything worked OK, but when I used developer tools in Firefox and Chrome to simulate the mobile format, the dropdown menu via the hamburger icon did nothing. On my actual phone, the 'live' site's mobile version worked perfectly.

I've been informed it may be a 'server-side' Javascript issue. I haven't used Dreamweaver in years but have borrowed my colleagues laptop in the hope it can shed some light on how to fix things!

Can Dreamweaver enable me to 'extract' server-side functionality?

The site in question is

https://www.icaew.com/groups-and-networks/local-groups-and-societies/london-ds

Not a particularly unique/high-end site, so I don't understand it's complexity!

Hope someone can help.

Thanks.

The mobile hamburger menu works as expected for me.

    Try a different browser.

When I download the website and try it out locally is when the menu doesn't work. I started 'Wamp Server' to treat my PC as a webserver and everything I did tested OK. When I uploaed to my ISP's server, the menu failed to do its thing. I've sent a message to them to try and get an explanation. Since my first posting, I never mention the Wamp server bit, so my oversight....

This basically isn't a Dreamweaver thing. A friend told me the program could resolve my 'server-side' issue, but the fact that a perfectly working mobile menu fails once uploaded points somewhere else. Thanks for your reply anyway.

Maybe your remote server doesn't have all the supporting files it needs for the interactive menu to work.

    Upload the scripts again.

The menu works fine for me in Vivaldi and Chrome, closing down to the 3 bar menu without issue.

Since it works on your phone, it may just be a browser cache issue on your desktop and is likely nothing to worry about.

The mobile browser is what's important for your mobile design.

I'm seeing a bad include on the javascript via the console to: https://www.icaew.com/path/to/index.js .  This seems like a fake path (ie: /path/to) to that particular file. The path being used to include that javascript needs to be the path on the server itself, or to a remote file that is valid. I see many other files are actually hosted on: cdn.icaew.com.  Have you tried moving the JS file there and including it like your other files in the head?

Thanks for responding. I'm brand new to Javascript and its pathings! Funny thing is if I run the downloaded site via Wamp Server, everything works fine and tests out OK. When I move the exact files, everything, up to the webserver, and clear my cache, the menu fails to do its thing in mobile mode.
