moving dreamweaver cs6 to a new laptop

I got a new laptop and am trying to move my dreamweaver cs6 to it.

I ran the setup but now I can't run the activation program: adobe.dreamweaver.cs6.activation.exe.  The error I get is: insufficient resources exist to complete the requested service. When I click on OK the program ends and gets deleted from my hard drive.

I've run it as an administrator and regular.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for all the confusion. The problem was my anti-virus software. I disabled it and the program ran fine.

    Thanks for all the support.

there is no such file... you activate (and de-activate the old one) Adobe cs6 products by going to www.adobe.com/go/activation

also as this is a NEW system you prob need to turn on support for older networks... in windows 10 systems this from "programs and features" panel

That's a good question. After I finished creating the site [link removed by Mod] my computer was hacked, and I ended up having to format everything, if I had not uploaded the local files to the server I would be screwed. And I want to install Dreamweaver on another PC with the same license if possible

Does your laptop meet the requirements to support CS6 + your OS + all your other apps & services?

Are you installing it on your primary hard drive where the OS resides?

    Dreamweaver system requirements

The error I get is: insufficient resources exist to complete the requested service.

This sounds more like a system error rather than a Dreamweaver setup error.

Have a look at the Event Viewer and see what that says.
