msvcrdll120.dll missing (startup crash blast from the past)

Just tried to run DW and got two system prompts, identical, that msvcr120.dll is missing. Then, nothing.

Researching online, this hasn't been a common problem since 2017. The remedy back then was any combination of reinstalling Visual Studio, uninstalling/reinstalling DW, and running /scannow from the command prompt. I've done these things in multiple combinations to no avail. Anyone else getting this?

Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19042
Vis C++ 2015-19 14.24.28127
(and various versions back to '01)
CC Desktop says DW is 21.1 but have not been able to run it to confirm

Hope there's help.

    Perhaps it will help to speak in pictures.

    I have uninstalled/repaired both DW and VisC in multiple combinations to no avail.

    Bradley, many many moons ago, I was confronted with the same problem and is the reason why I get a discount at the local barber shop.

    Hi @bradleyw63847191 ,

    Thanks for writing to us. Along-with Nancy's suggestion, can you please try installing Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package and see if the issue gets resolved. Since msvcr120.dll is a dependent dll of Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package for Visual Studio 2013, we suspect installing this redistributable shall resolve the issue else we will further investigate the same.

    Update or reinstall Win10.  It seems you're missing an essential visual C runtime library.
