I am new to Building databases so I purchased MX Site Search. I have gotten as far as Creating a MYSQL Server Database and connecting Dreamweaver to it but now I am stuck on what to do. I don’t know how to create the tables properly in PHP My Admin.

Has anyone used this extension and can help me please?

Hello joey_a,

Keep in mind that that file is for the tutorials. Its not the one you w ould
normally use in a site as MX Site Search can search any number of tables.

You don't need to create any special tables for MX Site Search. You would
just create all your tables as you normally do and then add MX Site Search
to be able to search them.

Hi Joey:
I think the .mdb file is a Microsoft Access database. It should end with
.sql or something like that for the one you need.

Hi Joey:

If you look in the file you downloaded when you purchased Site Search there
should be somewhere in there a folder that has a .sql file in it. You can
import the .sql file into your mysql database using PHP Myadmin. I don't
have site search, but all the other interakt products I've tried include a
.sql file.
