My PHP include and require commands not working.

In this current version of Dreamweaver, PHP commands "include" and "require" no longer work in some of my webpages.  I've compared coding that doesn't work with coding that does work and they are identical.  I've tried following Adobe instructions to set up PHP on each website, but it still doesn't work.  I don't know what to do next.  Can you help me?

    • Which version of DW did you use previously?
    • Did you have a local testing server installed on your computer?
    • Did you define a local testing server in DW?
    • Does your local site folder reside in the testing server's default web directory (see screenshot)?
