MySQL Connection Error

I get the following error:

Please use only characters A-Z, a-z, 0-9, and _ in the Name

Despite the error, I can actually "test" the connection and it works. But when I click OK up pops the error window with this above message.

Any ideas or do I just restart the program and try again?
