Need help regarding custom search bar

Hi everyone!

I’m building a directory website insdir using Dreamweaver, and I want to add a custom search bar that dynamically filters location as users type (like ajax matching results).

I’m curious about the best way to set this up in Dreamweaver.

Have a look at App Connect Autocomplete, an extension for Dreamweaver.

Or a better solution, start using Wappler which includes the extension.

There's nothing built-in to Dreamweaver 21.x that can do this for you.

Is your website content stored in a database that can be queried?

The only search engine sites I've created were built with MySQL data & PHP scripts.
