"Next" and "Previous" arrow buttons missing in Dw 2017 Find/Replace

The buttons with a left and right arrow on them that are supposed to be situated to the right of the Find field in the Find dialog do not usually appear when I am doing a find - a find that is searching for terms that I know are in both the html file's text and code because I can see them. The "Find All" button works, which proves that the Find engine can locate what I am looking for, but that is usually not a convenient way for me to work. All filters are off.

Another point I want to make is that when Dw's darkest interface is chosen it is very hard to tell if the filter buttons are on or off.

I'm not having any trouble.  Maybe try a different Theme.  Or calibrate your monitor.  Below I have the Text filter selected.

At my Acer V243H 24" display's default resolution (1920x1080) and using its factory settings it's hard for me to easily discern what's enabled. I have had to resort to using the brighter theme already (which is not as good as the one in the prior versions, IMHO). Here's an animated gif that shows the match case and match whole word filters at 100% size going on-off, from my Mac:

Even using a text that is not in my document, the arrows are there in Windows 10

This is what I see in my Mac (10.12.2), no arrows, but I have a "Find All" button. Is there a setting that I need to make?:

Turn off the Filters otherwise you won't see the arrows.

Your screenshot shows the Text filter is on.
